Sir Richard Doll, OBE, established a link between smoking and lung cancer as well as links with the affects of atomic radiation, cardiovascular diseases and many other diseases.
The portrait is on permanent display in the new Sir Richard Doll Building for the Department of Epidemiology on the Churchill Hospital site in Headington, Oxford.
