Statement

Her fascination with people has given Ruth an abiding interest in portraiture. She has completed a number of commissions for Oxford academics, writers and others.

She sees portraiture as a very important part of her work and aims to create a psychological interpretation of the sitter which stands as a work of art in its own right.
